If you hire a chipping contractor or rent a chipper to dispose of slash from mitigation work on your own private property in La Plata County, WAP reimburses half the cost up to $250. You submit receipts for the contract work, labor or chipper rental plus two photos of the chipping. One rebate per property per year. Active for 2026.
