Where can I see current fires near me?

Tap “Show fires near me” above the map and allow location access — the map recenters on your area with current fires, perimeters, and smoke. You can also open your state’s page below, or check any address for its wildfire risk score.

How current is this fire tracker?

The active-fire data refreshes from NIFC’s interagency feed and the National Weather Service each time you load the page.
